Tall Timbers 01:25
July the 9th 65 down Coppermine Who am I to justify your state of mind? You were too faded to remember And I was too dazed to provide you with closure Tall Timbers I still picture those times of placement On your living room couch and the floor of your basement Your eyes were full of tears, while this distance filled my mind with fear But since the last time, I've been doing fine (Tall Timbers).
2.
Sit on your knees you sheep and pray To beg for gluttony in exchange Go wipe the mercy off your face Are you happy with your grace? Where's your consciousness? Teach me your ways and drain my fear You're scared of understanding We're nothing but existing I won't let you reign to make me feel afraid You will never answer; my cry for you is vain What if you're a myth? And I was just a speck? If it's a foolish world, what gives you faith in it? Where's your consciousness? Teach me your ways and drain my fear You're scared of understanding We're nothing but existing Where's your consciousness? I am a nihilist in desperate need of purpose No solid ground To fulfill the void that roots my lack of interest I don't need a cult to make me human.

Simpleton 02:09
Cross out your pointless trends With the feeling you couldn't mend You're the shovel and I'm the sand What makes you so indifferent? Your sword unedged My mind sharpened Modest and free You'll never be Clout savvy knockoff kids With their cuffs and checkered fits Transferred their plastered lives Into a split Your sword unedged My mind sharpened Modest and free You'll never be Go tell your friends That you're depressed Don't pin a thread For sympathy You're a simpleton And you'll never be set free You're a simpleton A fallacy.

Lame Duck 02:49
Tyranny breaks the bond from you to me Pockets full and records clean They laugh at lives of everything we've come to mean As they rip us from our currency and withdraw our equality (Reiterate) The words they say don't mean a thing (To you and me) We're just a photo in the frame (Obliterate) Break down the walls and set us free Lay down your slush funds into single file Lash out the blameless, they're inversatile Well I've got my virtues marred by lies From these mockup politicians with their milksop minds (Reiterate) The words they say don't mean a thing (To you and me) We're just a photo in the frame (Obliterate) Break down the walls and set us free Reiterate the words they say To you and me if the live in vain Their policies ravage our luck And no one seems to give a fuck.

about

We wrote this EP as a call-out on modern day society, including the questioning of politics, religion, social media, and relationships. While writing these four songs, we intended to reach for a harder, punk-like sound inspired by the likes of Title Fight, Turnstile, Rage Against The Machine, Joyce Manor, and Homesafe.
